Wadi Mujib Nature Reserve is the lowest nature reserve in the world, as it enters the Dead Sea at 410 meters below sea level. With a small fee you can hike through the gorge climbing up waterfalls and leisurely float, in some parts, on the way back. The few kilometer trek results in a spectacular waterfall that wouldn’t be possible to pass without gear. Unfortunately I also didn’t have a watertight bag which would’ve been necessary to bring my camera much further past the point where this photo was taken. It was definitely a highlight of my trip- if you make it to Jordan, go here.
